Remember them bunk posters I made on my last post? Welp, all hail the bunk set up that The High Priestess and Opal Doily did at Metropolis Factory! 

              

The big ball of wondrous ideals and dreams, Alyssa Justice, The High Priestess has finally opened her vintage shop alongside Opal Doily and soon to be online! Bringing to you floral silk blouses, bold as heckle jackets, and the loveliest of flower crowns, The High Priestess has got the goods that will spin your world upside down but into all the right directions. We had a blast playing vendor at the Metropolis Factory, this ex-powerhouse now event space that also sells all sorts of bizarro vintage movie kind of props. It felt cool to be surrounded by cool things and all the feels!

Last last Friday was Midnight MRKT, a cray bumpin' pop-up market of food, drank, a fun assortment of local retailers, and gr00vilicious disco jams. Some booths really had it going on with their set ups and merch. Food was funky and eccentric. And the scene was just happening. I was super blessed to showcase at this one for I've continued to be showered with rays of good fortune ever since! Enjoy this photo roll of my struggles prior to the night, my table which  admit needs to step up its game a bit, and the loving support of fraaands.

Sunny Sundays

If I had it my way, every Sunday would be spent with a stroll along urban-suburban beauty, patio dining, rose coloured vision, chocolate crafted to perfection, and jaws that hurt from smiling too wide. Oh wait, that's how I spent Mother's Day!

The Woodbine side of the Beaches area will always have my heart, I knew 8-year old me was right when she said she wanted to own a house there one day. As wee youngin's the family used to drive down to the bright side of town for a Sunday of wading pools, nostalgic candy, "uuka-booka" masks, castle-so-high playgrounds, ice cream for lunch, and running through fields of carefree easy. As we looked for the appropriate fine dining experience we soaked up the sun with smiles and listened to the history of the Beaches according to my mum. After a hefty meal we set out for the perfect walk down memory lane and passed by childhood favourites such as; the wading pool that we loved to pee in, the store that used to be Sugar Mountain, the theatre where Snake and Melanie had an awkward date, and the trees that used to be so big when we were so small. I live for days like these.
